Arbitrum Orbit is Mainnet Ready
Arbitrum Orbit, a custom blockchain solution from Offchain Labs, is now ready for mainnet deployment. It allows developers to build their own chains on top of Arbitrum’s Layer 2 infrastructure. Orbit integrates with AnyTrust, an alternate data availability solution, to reduce transaction fees compared to Arbitrum One.
Orbit also introduces Stylus, a tool that lets developers write smart contracts in Rust, C, and C++, while maintaining full EVM compatibility. This improves the developer experience, opens up new use cases, and reduces gas costs.
POL Contracts Are Live on Ethereum Mainnet
Polygon Labs has successfully launched the POL token upgrade on the Ethereum mainnet, a major milestone in its Polygon 2.0 roadmap. POL now replaces MATIC as the primary currency within Polygon’s vast ecosystem, including the main Polygon blockchain, Polygon zkEVM, and various supernets. For more details, visit here.
